VYLT ("VYLT", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in connection with our pre-launch waitlist at drinkvylt.com. We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Principles set out in that Act.

1. What we collect

When you join the VYLT waitlist we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number (optional)
• Basic technical information such as device type, browser, approximate location and pages viewed, collected via standard analytics tools

2. Why we collect it

We use this information to:

• Add you to our launch waitlist and send launch and early-access updates
• Share product, flavour testing and brand updates relevant to the waitlist
• Offer early-release pricing and promotions
• Improve our website, marketing and product roadmap

We only contact you for marketing and launch updates because you have opted in by joining the waitlist.

3. How it's stored

Your information is stored securely with reputable third-party providers (for example our website host, database and email platforms) which may be located in New Zealand, Australia, or overseas. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including access controls, encryption in transit, and limiting access to staff who need it.

We retain your information for as long as you remain on the waitlist or as required to comply with our legal obligations. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, we will remove your personal information from active systems within a reasonable timeframe.

4. We never sell your data

VYLT does not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties. We only share your information with service providers who help us operate the waitlist and send updates, and only to the extent needed to provide those services.

5. Unsubscribe and deletion

You can unsubscribe from VYLT marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send you. You can also request that we delete your personal information by emailing hello@vylt.com.au. We'll action deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain information by law.

6. Your rights under the NZ Privacy Act 2020

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Request a copy of that information
• Ask us to correct it if it's wrong
• Ask us to delete it
• Make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz) if you believe we've mishandled your information
